Pre-Order Process

Pre-orders are expected to be fulfilled by the 2025 winter season.

Our pre-order process will function much like a kickstarter campaign. We need to sell at least 200 bindings this winter in order to produce the ALPENFLOW 89. All pre-orders will be refunded if we do not reach our goal.

We are only able to produce a limited number of bindings so we require a partial payment up front to secure your spot. Full payment will be collected on May 31st if we hit our goal.

Lifetime Warranty

We are so confident in the durability of the ALPENFLOW 89 that we are offering a lifetime repair warranty for the binding. Simply ship us the bindings and we will fix the problem and send them back to you as good as new.

Shipping & Returns

FREE SHIPPING WITH YOUR PRE-ORDER!

Unused bindings are eligible for free returns, used bindings are eligible for partial refunds upon inspection.

Compatibility

Boot Compatibility - Compatible with all ISO 9523 boots including Grip Walk, WTR, and MNC. (Pretty much any boot with a pin toe and a heel shovel.)

Ski Compatibility - Minimum ski width required 85mm.

What The Pros Think

We think these bindings are amazing but don't take it from us, we only think we're the best skiers on the mountain. Our athletes, on the other hand, actually are.

What Makes the AlpenFlow 89 Special?

With bomber downhill performance, easy touring, and simple transitions, you'll spend less time thinking about your gear and more time enjoying skiing.

Our patent-pending LockTurn toe piece keeps you locked in while skiing and touring, only releasing when you want it to. The toe piece will freely rotate with the boot throughout the entire elastic travel ensuring your boot is mechanically locked into the binding. Only when the entire elastic travel is exhausted will the toe unlock and allow the boot to release, preventing against pre-release and allowing for a controlled release in ski mode.

The LockTurn toe piece is paired with an alpine heel piece that controls the release in both the lateral and vertical directions. With fully adjustable release settings in both directions, the ALPENFLOW 89 skis and releases very similar to a typical downhill binding. They are NOT TUV (DIN) CERTIFIED but release very similarly in our in-house testing.

A downhill capable touring binding with ski-mo transitions. The ALPENFLOW 89's transitions are what separate it from any other binding on the market. Our guided step in and toe brake make clicking in a breeze. Intuitively transfer between touring, risers, skiing, and back to touring in seconds with just your pole. Great for easy transitions in deep powder and managing rolling hills on the approach.

The ALPENFLOW 89 boasts 28mm of lateral and 10mm of vertical elasticity supplied by our beefy alpine heel piece, Allowing you to charge hard and absorb the chop without worrying about pre-releasing. It also features full forward pressure control and adaptation allowing you to fully flex you ski and arc your turns.

Manufactured from aerospace grade 7075 aluminum, steel, bronze and Nylatron. The ALPENFLOW 89 is built to last. For that reason we offer a lifetime repair warranty on our bindings. If you have any issues, send it back and we will either fix it or send you a new one.

Specs

For a deeper dive into what went into designing the ALPENFLOW 89 check out our design philosophy page but here's the nitty gritty.

Release Range

Release values range from 5-13. Adjustable in both lateral and vertical directions.

Contrary to the popular perception of other bindings, you can ride the ALPENFLOW 89 confidently all the way to the ends of the range.

Toe Brake

Our toe brake ensures that the brake is always tucked out of the way when your boot is in the binding, automatically stowing and deploying when you want it to. Whether touring or skiing the brake is stowed when your boot is in the binding and deployed when it is out.

Elasticity

Elasticity is controlled by the alpine heel piece in both the vertical and horizontal directions for optimal release control and power transmission.

Vertical:

Recentering Elasticity: 9 mm

Total Elasticity to Release: 11 mm

Lateral:

Recentering Elasticity: 28 mm (+/- 14 mm)

Total Elasticity to Release: 50 mm (+/- 25 mm)

Climbing Risers

Utilize the heel piece itself for your climbing riser as well as the additional lever attached for 3 climbing positions.

Feature Overview

Downhill Performance & Release

LockTurn Toe Piece

The LockTurn toe piece rotates freely in ski mode. It locks your boot in while skiing by mechanically blocking the pin arms from opening until the toe has fully rotated or the toe lever is pushed down, ensuring that you only release in the event of a fall. In touring mode the toe piece is not free to rotate allowing for a reliable stable touring experience.

Alpine Heel Piece

The alpine heel piece delivers precise control over boot release in both lateral and vertical directions. Featuring large springs, forward pressure control, 28mm of lateral and 9mm of vertical elasticity. This heel piece was built for maximum power transmission and shock absorption, allowing for full ski flexion and optimal edge control.

Full Release System

The heel and toe pieces work together to deliver precise release control. The heel governs the torque needed to rotate the toe, which stays locked until it fully rotates. Release occurs when forces on the boot exceed the heel’s spring tension, allowing rotation in lateral or vertical directions. This rotation frees the toe to disengage, either by the toe piece completing its rotation or by the boot pitching forward to activate the toe lever.

Transitional FLOW

Toe Brake / Step-In

Step into the ALPENFLOW 89 by lining up your heel with the heel piece and rocking your boot forward. The toe brake lever guides your boot into position for a reliable and repeatable setp-in. The toe brake then stowes away and sucks into the ski ensuring it's never in the way when skiing or touring, never coming down on the tour.

Flow Transitions

Experience Flow State with seamless transitions. Using only your pole, transition between touring, skiing, and back to touring in seconds without having to take off your skis. This is escpecially useful in rolling hills and transitioning in powder.

To enter ski mode simply step in and then actuate the heel piece with your pole. For Touring mode, raise the toe lever up and push the heel piece down with your pole.

Heel Risers

Easily engage heel risers using the same mechanisms as the transition. Tilt your boot forward and actuate the heel pice to engage the first "built in" heel riser. Then for steeper slopes flip down the second riser from the heel piece. Easily adapt to any slope angle in seconds.
